Terms and Conditions of Trade:

Effective from 1st January 2025

These terms and conditions outline the agreement between Go2 Plumbers, the Supplier of goods and services, and you, the Client.

Pricing:

Once a quote is provided, it will remain valid for 30 days. The cost is determined by labor, materials, and goods/services required.

The minimum charge is $135 + GST for the first 30 minutes. Additional labour $25 +GST per 15mins thereafter.

2. Payment:

Payment is due within 7 working days of receiving our invoice. For work spanning over a month, progress invoices may be issued. If you disagree with the amount, notify us in writing before the due date. Late payments incur 20% annual interest, calculated daily, plus any debt recovery costs.

3. Disputes:

Any disputes related to work or payments must be referred to adjudication under Part 3 of the Construction Contracts Act 2002 (CCA).

4. Ownership:

Goods and materials remain our property until fully paid. If payment is overdue, we may enter your premises to recover them. You may be required to register a Financing Statement under the Personal Property Securities Act 1999.

5. Risk:

You assume responsibility for goods and materials while they are on your premises. Any theft, loss, or damage is your liability.

6. Installation:

You must provide site access and necessary facilities (e.g., lifts, cranes, scaffolding). Unless stated otherwise, structural modifications are not included. You must inform us of any workplace hazards.

7. Completion Time:

We aim to complete work within a reasonable timeframe and will try to meet your deadlines.

8. Consents:

You are responsible for obtaining necessary consents. If required and not provided, we may apply on your behalf at your cost.

9. Warranty:

We guarantee workmanship and materials for 90 days from completion. This excludes materials you supply. Consumer Guarantees Act rights still apply.

10. Delays:

We are not liable for delays or damages due to weather, strikes, accidents, supplier issues, or other events beyond our control.

11. Changes:

Changes to the scope of work or terms must be agreed upon in writing.

12. Plans & Specifications:

We rely on the accuracy of plans you provide and are not responsible for goods supplied in compliance based on them.

13. Privacy:

You allow us to collect and use relevant information for contract performance.

14. Retentions:

This contract does not include retentions.

15. Materials:

Unless specified, installation applies to New Zealand Standard tapware and fittings. Extra charges apply for imported brands. We recommend consulting with us before purchasing fittings.
